Johann Hattingh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Commercial Law of the University of Cape Town (UCT) and an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa.

He was formerly adjunct Associate Professor in UCT’s Department of Finance and Tax and practiced in the field of international taxation.
