Robert Allen
Robert is a partner in the Disputes & Investigations team at Simmons & Simmons, specialising in retail and consumer finance litigation, including investigations, general banking disputes and contentious regulatory matters.
He advises on contentious data protection and privacy matters and is a member of the firm's Data Protection and Privacy group.
Robert has advised on a range of disputes and industry wide issues including consumer credit, mis-selling litigation and unfair terms. He has also acted in investment bank litigation and on international regulatory investigations for retail and investment banks. Robert regularly advises clients on contentious data protection and privacy matters, and has advised financial institutions, asset managers and telecoms clients on data protection litigation, contentious subject access requests, the right to be forgotten, cyber-attack and data breach response and notification.
Robert was named in Legal Week's 2016 list of Rising Litigation Stars in London.
