Maeve McDermott

Legal Fellow

Maeve E. McDermott is a U.S. attorney with experience in environmental law, international policy, and sustainable development. Prior to joining ILP, Maeve served as programme coordinator of the Democratising Education for Global Sustainability and Justice (DemEd Global) programme at the University of Cambridge and as manager of the Climate Law and Governance Initiative. Her previous experiences also include clerking at Williamson Law + Policy in Washington, D.C. and interning with the World Bank's Environmental and International Law Practice Group (LEGEN). Maeve's research interests focus on the intersection of climate change, environmental justice, and human rights law.
